Mark has been Skateboarding since 1984, Mark is a United States Marine Veteran and a family member of The Skate Barn since 1996. He has been employed by The Barn for over five of those years.  He comes from The Skate/Surf Industry where he managed several shops for a total of 8 years. He developed, organized and then executed all 6 years of the Skate Camps for the City of Jacksonville, NC. 

He also did 1 year for the City of Rocky Mount, NC. Mark has been in charge of and the Lead Instructor for Skateboard Lessons & our Famous Travel Camp here at the park since 2021.

He has very high standards and will ensure your Skaters will learn and most likely need a nap after their time skating with him.

Flynn has grown up at The Skate Barn & started skating 8 years ago. Flynn can be found missing at any given time eating somewhere. He is well loved & respected in our community, and all know that anytime he shows up that there will be a show to see. He is very kind and a natural teacher of skateboarding. He is extremely passionate about being active, healthy and developing the proper techniques.

Kate is from The infamous Jersey Shore, that area has been churning out lots of rippers! Kate is a Junior at UNCW. Skating for 3 years now, Kate says she gets hyped and loves seeing young kids getting into the scene. She's very reliable and skates almost every day. Let's get it rolling!​
